From December 12 to 13, the China Mobile Robot Industry Alliance (CMR) successfully held the 2024 China Mobile Robot Industry Development Annual Conference in Suzhou. During the conference, Stäubli Electrical Connectors was once again honored with the biennial Excellence in Supply Chain Award for the AGV Charging Floating System. This is the third time Stäubli has won this award after CombiTac and AGV-CC6, further demonstrating our exceptional ability to continually lead the industry innovation.
The AGV Charging Floating System is a complete charging solution designed specifically for the AGV market by the Stäubli Electrical Connectors China team. The system consists of a charging connector AGV-CC6, a floating system HME15, and a funnel component. This complete solution significantly reduces the difficulty of product application, allowing users to easily achieve ready-to-use installation.
Furthermore, during the conference, Zhang Jianbo, an AGV industry expert from Stäubli Electrical Connectors, delivered a speech entitled "Exploring Logistics Safety and Cost Reduction via Connectors. He explained to the audience that the charging position in Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) is a crucial risk point, prone to issues such as arcing and overheating, which requires special attention. In the face of a market with increasingly competitive pricing, only by evaluating AGV components from the perspective of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) can users effectively reduce operating costs and enhance the Return on Investment (ROI) of AGVs.
